Citizen's Panel

In April 2003, Cheshire Constabulary constructed a Citizen's Panel to consult with local residents more effectively on policing issues. The panel comprises approximately 730 members who have agreed to take part in regular consultation, mainly through surveys. Panel members make an important contribution to the development of policing services.

Panel members are contacted up to four times per year by post, telephone or e.mail. We may send a questionnaire to be completed, or an invitation to attend a local meeting, with each request being made on a voluntary basis. Panel members are kept updated with an annual newsletter.
